Oh my... It's really happening. We've got ourselves an 8 week old RASPBERRY!
So I think we should start with how we got here... no, not those details ;) But rather how we've secretly been hoping we'd have a little one since we got married and then he/she would be the cutest little CMU Chippewa ever. Well, turns out God had a different plan. A lot has changed this year including an unexpected but wonderful move to Indiana, New Careers, Second Home (yes, we bought two homes the first year we were married.. CRRAAZZYY), a lot of adjustments for this country girl and now this great surprise! We couldn't think of more perfect timing.
I knew something was off when my already out of control sleep walking up its ante with chasing imaginary dogs around the house and the night sweats... this little berry likes an adventure already! As Nick would say in the Blackhawks announcing voice, HE SCORED!
So now here we are.. 8 weeks along and very anxious to what the future holds! Auntie Molly suggested I start writing these thoughts down and we both religiously follow little Miss A and momma over on www.ittybittybabybeck.blogspot.com... so why not, lets laugh and share our way through this adventure :) I hope she doesn't mind I borrowed her idea!
Let's get down to the stats...
Dream of the week - There are too many to remember.. I'll start writing them down at night when I wake up because you will be surprised how funny, odd and random they are!
What are we wearing this week? I can still fit into my regular work clothes, but the idea of them makes me all sorts of uncomfortable. So we've transitioned into sweaters and leggings 80% of the time :)
How Much Weight You Packing with that Baby? I've never been a person to weigh myself and I honestly could not tell you a number, but our first appointment will be in two weeks so I'll have a solid starting point. I sure do feel much larger than normal, so I'm sure it's at least a couple 'ol LB's.
What Sounds Good? Anything cold... and I can stomach mashed potatoes, soup and satisfries from Burger King ;/
What's Absolutely Repulsive? Anything hot... especially meat. Poor Nick is STARVING because the thought of cooking anything with meat in it makes me nauseous for HOURS. I do feel rather blessed so far that I have not been physically sick.. most just hot and nauseous. Let's cross our fingers it stays that way!
Best Part of This Week? I figured out that milk/anything with milk is what was making me the most nauseous and now that I haven't had it for a couple days, life is much much better. I am no longer the person at Meijer eating
The "Mehhh" Part of This Week? I had to give up Milk... I love Milk

Awww yay Congratulations Emily!! Get ready for the best time of your life!!
